Northern Lights & Darks
1. Bolah Dining Chair – You’ve probably already fallen in love with Scandinavian kitchen design at least a thousand times over already–it’s hard not to fall for those clean-lined, sun-drenched white interiors, the rustic linens, the cheerful efficient modernism of it all. Just in case you haven’t, though….here are four of our favorite reasons to love this design style! Number one, the chairs. Brilliant Scandinavian-inspired style always starts with well-designed furniture, and these Bolah chairs from Noir Furniture fit the bill perfectly. A midcentury update on the classic spindled Windsor chair, we love their low-profile backs and mirror symmetry.
3. Black and White Linen Kitchen Towels – Practical, long-lasting pieces that will stand the test of time are the hallmark of Scandinavian design. This also happens to be the hallmark of Fog Linen, whose simple modern linens for kitchen, bed and bath are designed to soften and get more beautiful over years of use.
4. Eastleigh Wall Sconce – Finally, inspired by simple farmhouse style, this delightful little wall sconce from Currey & Company is a versatile favorite that compliments many styles of design. Uncomplicated and timeless, we love its classic grey/white combo and gracefully curved neck. Light up your kitchen, and light up your life!
