A great way to catch up on some of our most stylish posts that you may have missed the first time around, watch this space every Thursday for a different new-old favorite!

Candy Stripes

Candy canes are an iconic Christmas treat and it’s no surprise that they make an appearance throughout holiday home decor too. And there’s no better place to display these cheerful stripes of red and white than in the kitchen where all the magic happens. From ornaments to ribbon and all the way through the bevy of sweets, you’ll find colors and patterns that resemble the ever-so-delightful cane. Of course, it’s all balanced out with porcelain white kitchenware and touches of greenery that make it truly feel like Candy Cane Lane.

This sweet kitchen belongs to the Mueller family. Last year, they decided to make better use of their unused guest quarters by turning it into a fun- playfriendly “clubhouse”. Now the kids have their  own kitchen for crafting and cookie baking that opens up to their backyard.

Cookie Bar

Cookies are a must during the holidays. As the home fills with scents of sugary goodness of baked dough, be sure to have supplies ready to decorate as soon as they cool. Some great toppings include icing, colorful sprinkles and a variety of candy. Don’t forget to have a few snacks around too like marshmallows, powered doughnuts and sips of hot cocoa. It’s a wonderful and delicious activity for the entire family.
