Sea Island by Parker Kennedy Living

Beach-Inspired Living

When bold blues pair up with bright, punchy oranges, the result is a beach-inspired oasis that feels washed clean by surf & sun! That’s exactly the feeling evoked by Atlanta-based Parker Kennedy Living‘s stylish townhouse, a retro renovation that’s awash in vibrant color. The design duo behind Parker Kennedy, Lance Jackson & David Ecton, is known for delivering splashy style within a traditional framework (“Southern Regency” style according to David, or “Preppy on the Edge” according to Lance), which this project certainly features. Located in Sea Island, Georgia, this 1960s two-story townhouse was a full blown renovation from kitchen to bathrooms, including all new furniture, flooring accessories, lighting, paint, wallpaper and decorative objects. We think you’ll agree, the end result is gorgeous! Read on for more notes and visual inspiration from Parker Kennedy, as well as a chance to “shop the look” with selected REstyle Picks from this Sea Island Stunner!

“Some of the spaces were smaller than we normally design, so we had to make sure that our scale of furnishings were on point more than ever.”

“We used a lot of chinoiserie-inspired pieces that our clients love. We mirrored the backsplash on the bar off the dining room and living room area to make the space appear larger than it actually is.”
