This ricotta kumquat tart recipe is easy and light for a great appetizer or side dish for summer entertaining. So simple to make, we baked a ready-made puff pastry and added fresh ricotta & toppings. We picked up some kumquats, sprouts, and peas and drizzled with honey for a little sweetness.  The variations are endless! An easy and healthy snack for in between meals, after school, or even an appetizer for an outdoor get together or picnic, we think that this recipe has a lot to offer for how simplistic it is! Fresh, tasty and simple – the ideal combination – it is the perfect choice when you need to make up something quick and pretty!

Ricotta Kumquat Tart
Recipe type: Appetizer
  • Puff Pastry
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Sprouts or Micro Greens
  • Kumquats
  • Sugar Snap Peas
  • Honey
  1. Bake puff pastry according to package directions.
  2. Spread ricotta cheese onto the puff pastry.
  3. Layer the sprouts, kumquats, sugar snap peas, or any other fruit and vegetable combinations you desire.
  4. Drizzle with honey, and cut into squares to serve.
