Monogram Glass by Style Scout KariAnne of Thistlewood Farm
How to make Etched Monogram Glasses
We love those monogrammed glasses in the magazines and catalogs as much any style fiend, but did you know you can make your own? Follow these easy steps for a quick etched glass craft. (And might we suggest a shopping excursion for some vintage glasses to play with?)

Materials and Tools Needed
- Drinking Glasses
- Round Stickers
- Letter Stickers
- Etching Cream
Remove the round stickers from the sheet. Take the remaining circle outline from the sticker sheet, and place it on a glass. Use a letter sticker of your choice, and put it in the middle of the circle outline on the glass.
Use a q-tip to heavily apply the etching cream to the glass. Follow the directions on the bottle of etching cream to determine how long you need to leave it on the glass.
PROJECT TIP: Use the etching cream liberally. The more etching cream you glob on, the better your circle will be etched onto the glass.
Wash off the etching cream with soap and water. Peel off the stickers. Your letter should be clear and the circle should be etched. Wash glass with soap and water once more before using.
