JCT. Kitchen + Bar Atlanta, GA
JCT. Kitchen & Bar evokes the abode of a modern Southern belle — and we all know those women know plenty about decor and decadent dishes. At JCT., the aesthetic is fresh, the ambiance warm and welcoming and the food is good. Plus, odds are the waiter will have a Southern accent, which charms us every time. There’s house-brewed tea to drink, local trout to eat, and apple cobbler for dessert. We leave wishing for an accent of our own.
WHAT’S FOR DINNER
Chef and owner Ford Fry uses fresh and seasonal ingredients to create gourmet versions of Southern classics. We’re talking fried chicken, Georgia shrimp and grits, and deviled eggs — of course. Also on our list: the salmon sandwich and the house-made ricotta chicken and dumplings. Don’t miss the “angry” mussels, either.
In the mood for a little sin? JCT. Bar has “The Perfect Sin” for you: a grown-up cocktail with pomegranate-clove brandy and dry vermouth. The bar also offers an impressive list of local wine and beer. Not the sinful type? Sit back, relax, nosh on some truffle-parmesan fries and enjoy the downtown Atlanta skyline from the rooftop bar.
JCT. Kitchen & Bar is located in Atlanta’s artsy and industrial Westside neighborhood — a hotspot for fun.
