Honey + Cheese Tartlet Appetizer

The sweetness from the honey and pear, the saltiness of the prosciutto, the crunch from the asparagus, and the creamy flavor of the brie prove to be an amazing combination in this easy to make tartlet!

This appetizer is easy and so fun to experiment with because there are so many sweet and savory ingredients to try! We picked up a package of puff pastry at Trader Joe’s and used a round cookie cutter to make small circles. You can also cut the pastry into strips, use mini pastry shells or lavosh for another variation.

Brie, Honey, Prosciutto, and Asparagus Tartlet
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 2 pears
  • Brie
  • Asparagus
  • Prosciutto
  • Honey, to taste
  1. Cut circles from puff pastry and bake according to package instructions.
  2. Add sliced pear, shaved brie, prosciutto, and asparagus to each pastry.
  3. Finish off each pastry with a drizzle of honey.
