The holidays are the perfect time to dig into your cabinets to use those beautiful silver platters, china, glassware and other fancies that don’t get utilized enough. Vintage trophy cups look beautiful filled with flowers and provide different heights and dimension to your setting. Use mercury glass and a mix of other candleholders and silver pieces for an eclectic look. The informal style of this setting encourages mingling and conversation around the table and makes your guests feel welcome to dig in.

Keeping it fresh and simple
We love how this stacked collection of vintage suitcases and lanterns look next to the twinkling Christmas tree.. The fresh spruce and candlelit lanterns add warmth and holiday ambiance to the party. Other than the Christmas tree and wreath hanging on the mirror, we let the food take center stage. We kept the set up fairly simple adding fresh greenery and flowers here and there as accents. A vintage style urn filled with greenery, candles and ornaments adds height to the table but isn’t overpowering. TIP: Pick up FREE greenery remnants from your local Christmas tree provider.
