Floral Luncheon By Kelle Anne McCarter

A Lovely Tablesetting

I love to entertain and to create a beautiful table for my guests. It is a creative endeavor and, with Hester & Cook’s Kitchen Paper products, the setting becomes magical. The paper goods are beautiful and versatile. I used the table runners and placemats for gift wrap as well as for their intended use. Because I am such an ardent fan of Kitchen Paper products, I also incorporated items which I had in my inventory- vintage flatware and Perfect Settings place cards.

I am a calligrapher, and when I discovered the Perfect Settings placemats, I was so excited to hand letter the menu on each of my guests’ place mats. Guests received a hand lettered invitation and envelopes lined with the vintage bouquet placemat paper. The beautiful floral design served as the theme throughout the luncheon.

The 16” die cut vintage bouquet paper placemats, with their circular design, are perfect for creating lovely tussie mussie bouquet holders for fresh flowers.

I used the archival floral paper placemats to wrap a gift for each of my guests. The design is so elegant and looks stunning with fresh ranunculus flowers and a silk ribbon. To add a bit of whimsy, I wrapped a few gifts with the black chalkboard runner paper and used a white chalk pen to embellish the packages.
