What is REstyleSOURCE? >

REstyleSOURCE is the guide to local shops, businesses and restaurants.

What can I find here? >

* Discover LOCAL BUSINESSES in your area that carry products you love, and follow them for specials and updates.

* Find PRODUCTS that you love by browsing through the Products section, a local shop’s inventory, or in the sidebar of an inspiration article.

* Our CITY GUIDES take you on a tour through our favorite local shops and restaurants across the country.

* Our INSPIRATION articles show you beautiful spaces, real homes and designer rooms – and where to find all the pretty things in those pictures. We also have party ideas, recipes, D-I-Y projects, holiday decorating guides, and trend reports.

* In our STYLE FILE you can build a personal clipboard filled with all the products you love.

What is an inspiration article? >

Our inspiration articles are our “go-to” place to find all things fabulous. Whether you’re decorating your home, planning a get-away to a new city, or looking for a new dinner spot in town, let our inspiration pages guide you on an adventure. Our inspiration pages also tell you exactly where to buy the featured products in your area.

Are you going to send me an email every day? >

Nope! We want you to be excited to see our name in your inbox. First and foremost, we will never sell your name to a third party or send you information that is irrelevant to REstyleSOURCE. If you check the “Opt-In to Emails” box, we will add you to our list and periodically send you emails about exciting news and finds. We’re famous for giveaways. They usually involve gift certificates to our fabulous businesses or pretty things that we love. You want to be on our list. You can always opt out of these emails too by deselecting the “Opt-In to Emails” option in your profile.

Do I have to pay to enjoy REstyleSOURCE? >

If you are using the site as a reader, shopper, or consumer, it will always be FREE!If you are a business or manufacturer and would love to be part of our site, please go here for plans and pricing.

Can I get a REstyleSOURCE button to share on my website? >

Yes! If you are a reader that wants to share your support for local businesses, we have a button with HTML code below that you can put on your website or blog. Retail partners can login and visit their “My Listing” page to get a button that links to their Source Page.

  Profile

How do I update my profile + account information? >

Click on the orange menu button near the top right side of the page and select the ‘Edit Profile’ button.

Edit your profile information and click ‘Update Profile’.

How do I delete my account? >

If for any reason you want to delete your account, please email us and let us know. We’ll delete it for you, no questions asked.

  Following

What are the benefits of following businesses? >

Following your favorite businesses will allow you to get updates about their specials and events in your activity feed.

How do I follow a business on REstyleSOURCE? >

Click the ‘Follow Us!’ button on the business’s listing.

  Comments + Reviews

How do I leave a comment on an inspiration article? >

At the bottom of inspiration articles, you will find a comment box where you can add your thoughts. Click ‘Add your comment’ when you are ready to submit.

How do I add a review for a business? >

Scroll down to the ‘Share the love’ section on the listing page for the business you are reviewing. Click on the heart rating you want to give the business. Write your review in the comment box, and then click ‘Add your comment’ to submit your review.

How do I add a review for a product? >

Go to the product page for the product that you would like to review, and scroll down to the review section. Click on the number of stars that you want to rate the product. Write your review in the comment box, and then click ‘Submit’ to add your review.

  Dashboard

What can I find on the Dashboard? >

The way your Dashboard looks will vary depending on what type of account you have. Premier business accounts have access to more sections of the Dashboard.The areas you may have on your Dashboard include the main Dashboard page with your activity feed, My Listing, My Products, My Product Lines, Manufacturers, Events, Style File, and Toolbox.

How do I access the Dashboard? >

Click on the orange menu button near the top right side of the page and select the ‘Dashboard’ button.

  My Listing

What is a Listing? >

A Listing is a page with information and images about a business. Businesses can be contacted and followed from their listing.

How can I sign up for a Listing? >

Brick and mortar businesses can apply for a listing here.

If you have been invited by one of our Manufacturer Partners, you can sign up with your invite code here.

Manufacturers that would like a listing can sign up here.

What are the different types of Listings? >

The three tiers of listings are Free, Portfolio, and Premier. Contact sales@restylesource.com for more information on plans and pricing.

How do I edit my Listing? >

You can edit your listing from the My Listing tab in the Dashboard.

From here you can edit your business information, social media links, images, and manufacturer lines. Click ‘Update Your Listing’ to save the changes.

  Products

How can I find a product that I love in a store near me? >

If you see a product that you can’t live without, click on the ‘Get it Local’ button on the product page for a list of stores that have the product, can order it for you, or stock similar looks.

How do I contact a business about a product I want? >

Click the ‘Send Message’ button next to the shop you want to contact, and a pop-up will appear where you can ask any questions you may have about the product.

Click ‘Send’ when you are ready to send your message.

How do I add a product to my listing’s online inventory? >

To add products to your listing’s online inventory, you must first click the “I Carry This Line” button on the product page or manufacturer listing.

Click ‘View + Manage Products’.

Then you can manage the availability of each product from the manufacturer’s page or from each individual product page.

How do I add a product to my Manufacturer Product Line? >

Click on the My Products tab to see the products in your line.

You can add individual products by clicking ‘Add a Product’ and filling out the form.

Click ‘Submit Product for Review’.

If you have a lot of products to upload, you can download the spreadsheet template, and follow the instructions in the included document.

  Manufacturers

How do I add a manufacturer’s line to my listing’s online inventory? >

Go to the My Listing tab in the Dashboard.

Scroll down to the My Manufacturers section. Select the checkboxes next to the lines that you carry.

Be sure to click ‘Update Your Listing’ to apply the changes.

You can also browse through the Manufacturer lines to find one that you carry on the Manufacturers tab in the Dashboard.

Click on their thumbnail or name to go to their listing.

Click the “I Carry This Line” button to add their line to your online inventory.

How do I remove a manufacturer’s line from my listing’s online inventory? >

Go to the My Listing tab in the Dashboard.

Be sure to click ‘Update Your Listing’ to apply the changes.

You can also manage the lines that you carry on the My Product Lines tab.

Click the ‘Manage’ button next to the line you want to remove, and select ‘Remove product line’.

  Events

How can I find events near me? >

Go to the Events page.

From here you can browse all of the upcoming events or use the search bar to find an event in a specific location.

You can also use the Event Category dropdown to view events from a certain category.

How do I list my event? >

You must have a business account to list an event. Go to the Events page.

Click the ‘Add Your Event’ button.

Fill out the information about your event, and click ‘Submit Event’.

How do I edit my event? >

Go to the Events page.

Click on the name of the event you wish to edit.

Edit the event details and then click ‘Update Event’.

How do I delete my event? >

  Style File

What is a Style File? >

Style Files are a way to save inspiration articles and products that you love.

How do I find my Style File? >

Your Style File can be accessed from the orange menu button near the top right side of the page.

How can I create a new Style File? >

Go to the Add to Style File section on a product or inspiration page. Click the ‘New Style File’ button.

Type in the name for your new Style File, and click ‘Add New Style File’.

How can I add a product or inspiration article to my Style File? >

Find a product or inspiration article that you like and go to its page. Go to the ‘Add to Style File’ section, and select the Style File you want to add the product to from the dropdown. Click the ‘Save to Style File’ button.

How do I remove an item from my Style File? >

Go to the Style File page. Select the Style File with the item you want to remove. Click the ‘Remove’ button next to the item you want to delete from the Style File.

You can also go to the ‘Add to Style File’ section on a product or inspiration article that is in a Style File and click the ‘Remove’ button.

  Toolbox

What is the Toolbox? >

The Toolbox is a place where our PREMIER Partners can access exclusive graphics, printables, and social media tips. Some of our manufacturers also have Toolboxes for their REstyleSOURCE partnered dealers.

How do I find the Toolbox? >

The Toolbox can be accessed from the orange menu button near the top right side of the page.Toolbox-btn

You can also find a link to the Toolbox on any of the pages in the Dashboard.

How do I download the graphics? >

  1. Click on the thumbnail image for the graphic that you want to download.
  2. On a Mac: Drag and drop the image onto your Desktop or the folder that you would like to save the image in.
    On a PC: Right click on the image and select ‘Save image as…’
  3. Now you can upload and share the graphic on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, or any of your other social media accounts.

  Contributing

How do I contribute? >

REstyleSOURCE partners and contributors can go to the Contribute tab. Contact Kristin at kalber@restylesource.com with questions about contributions or to learn how you can become a contributor.

How do I add images? >

Click on the ‘Choose File’ button next to Main Image. This image will go in the header area on the article.

Next to Photo Gallery select the number of photos you would like to add from the dropdown menu.

Click the ‘Choose File’ button for each photo you want to add.
Contribute   REstyleSOURCE

Please tell us who took the photos in the Photo Credits section so that we can give credit to the photographer.

How do I add products to my contribution? >

Click the + button at the end of each row in the Linked Products section to add a space for another product.

Copy the link for the Product you want to add and paste it into the Linked Products section.
