Design Love Wednesday 2.17.16

Share the #DesignLove with us

Welcome to Design Love Wednesday! From interior designers to DIY blogs, visual artists and more, the REstyleSOURCE team has a growing #DesignLove list that we just couldn’t keep to ourselves anymore. We’re going to share a new group of creatives with you every Wednesday on Instagram, so don’t forget to follow us over there at @restylesource, if you don’t already. Now, on to the design love!

@prmele

NYC-based designer Patrick Mele’s singular aesthetic is informed by the evolution and interplay between art, architecture, decorative arts and fashion throughout history. From London and St Barths to New York and California, this talented collaborator (Ralph Lauren and Kate Spade are among his roster of clients) creates bold, sophisticated spaces around the globe. Check out his Instagram for casual, unstaged ‘behind the scenes’ shots of projects and inspiration from daily life, then click on over to his portfolio site (patrickmele.com) to see the finished projects in glorious color!

RD@reathdesign

Designer Frances Merrill is the creative force behind Reath Design, an LA-based firm that specializes in residential projects, and has worked on everything from a Malibu trailer to a post-and-beam in Laurel Canyon to a Silverlake bungalow and more! They say, ‘We are inspired by our clients and how they live and seek to create spaces that are unique to each job.’ WE say, we are so inspired by Reath Design’s Instagram feed–the sweet candid shots of family life interspersed with behind-the-scenes snippets and project shots always leave us wanting to see more. Hint: you CAN see more of Frances’s lovely work here at their design portfolio.

JD@joaniedesign

Phoenix-based designer Joanie’s spaces always look so bright, fresh and feminine, it feels like there’s never a single cloudy day in her world. Every room is a bright ray of desert sunshine, much like Joanie herself! We especially love the tasteful way that she builds neutrals (clean white walls, silvers & greys, black & white stripes) as a foundation that lets the bright colors take center stage without overwhelming the senses. Get inspired by color over at Joanie’s Instagram feed today!

PJ@pippajameson

London-based designer Pippa Jameson is a bit of a U.K. superstar–a tv personality, consultant for magazines and commercials, art director and interior stylist of more than 17 years–but her Instagram feed is so fun and humble, you’d never know you were rubbing elbows with a celebrity….and we think that’s a great thing! We’re overwhelmed by the stunning ways she finds brilliant color in everyday life on Instagram, and beyond inspired by the interiors she shares over at her site…..a great new find to follow, if you’re not already!
