Share the #DesignLove with us
Welcome to Design Love Wednesday! From interior designers to DIY blogs, visual artists and more, the REstyleSOURCE team has a growing #DesignLove list that we just couldn’t keep to ourselves anymore. We’re going to share a new group of creatives with you every Wednesday on Instagram, so don’t forget to follow us over there at @restylesource, if you don’t already. Now, on to the design love!
Based in Nashville (which is rapidly emerging as one of the newest cultural meccas in all creative fields), interior designer Banjamin Vandiver’s spaces are what dreams are made of. Moody, aesthetically rich, and at times delightfully surreal (Vandiver understands the importance of a strategically placed accessory or objet like no other), his spaces are simply gorgeous. That’s not all you’ll see on his Instagram feed, though….you’ll also find lively candid shots from the designer’s life, close-cropped and almost abstract looking still lifes, and even the occasional Throwback Thursday. We’re hooked on his style, and know you will be, too!
Over 200k followers can’t be wrong……Kate Arends’s (aka Wit and Delight) feed, and her blog of the same name, is an absolute delight! Since 2009, this lifestyle website has been rising to the top, and we’ve loved watching her success! We love Kate’s Instagram feed for its charming miscellany: colorful still life shots of brunch tables and fruit? Artfully cropped self portraits of feet in various settings? Breathtaking travel shots of interiors and exterior architecture from around the world? Check, check and check….all served with a side of friendly commentary and her trademark wit. Follow and be delighted by Wit and Delight today!
Los Angeles designer Nickey Kehoe may sound like one person, but it’s actually two….the brilliant partnership between Todd Nickey and Amy Kehoe is responsible for this brilliant Instagram feed (not to mention their design firm and Beverly Blvd-based retail shop, both of the same name). Their feed is full of all the eye candy you’d expect from a shop that houses the duo’s vintage finds, private label products and a selection of handpicked goods from around the world. You’ll also see stunning pics from their latest design projects and travels…..these two are a must-follow!
London-based interior designer and creative director Sophie Ashby is the real deal. Her carefully considered interiors and palettes reflect her education in interior design at the prestigious Parsons at the New School in NYC, but it’s her clever–and frequent–use of framed art that reveals her earlier schooling in art history, as well. Whatever the reason you follow Studio Ashby, we think you’ll draw as much inspiration from her lush, colorful photographs as we do……definitely put this one on your list!
