Boho Retreat by Kirsten Marie Interiors
A Colorful Global Adventure
Where does casual beach house vibe meet elegant bohemian style? Right here in this tiny, perfectly styled Southern California guest house by Kirsten Marie Interiors. From the moment we laid eyes on that cool, sophisticated marble tile backsplash–echoed perfectly by marble kitchen accessories, white cabinetry and whitewashed plank floors–we knew we were hooked on this space. By the time we got around to the vibrant textiles and the subtle pops of brass that twinkle around the kitchen like just-barely-there jewelry, we were basically ready to move in and call it home. Kirsten Marie has put together a fresh, feminine space that feels globally inspired and utterly inviting. The REstyleSOURCE team couldn’t wait to check in with Kirsten for more details about this Boho Retreat. Read on for Kirsten’s comments and links to where you can shop for this look locally!

This was a fun project for an awesome client. I wanted the guest home to have a global feel and reflect the client’s well traveled lifestyle, but also make it fun and bohemian for her daughters and guests.

I love the brass accents we used to warm up the clean white space, and the pops of color throughout.

“The subtly patterned Peacock Feathered Wallpaper by Florence Broadhurst (see left) that we used in the living room is amazing! Also, I loved the client’s desire to make the space fun and just a little bit ‘edgy’ for her daughters and her guests.”
