A great way to catch up on some of our most stylish posts that you may have missed the first time around, watch this space every Thursday for a different new-old favorite!
Color meets Glam
This Atlanta home exudes feminine glamour and playfulness. While most of the furniture and upholstery was kept neutral, Helen Davis of H&H Home made sure that her client had the perfect palette and amount of color to really make the room pop!
We love the broad and colorful brushstrokes of the artwork over the sofa, which immediately draws your eye to the center of the room. The symmetry of the space keeps things organized, and the gold accents in the hardware of the furniture & lamp bases ties the room together. Helen’s use of coordinating prints in a similar shade of grey is inspiring, and keeps the space fresh and young, while still remaining ultra posh and sophisticated.
To create a space in a similar fashion, don’t be afraid to mix muted prints together, and take advantage of the polish and sheen that metallics can bring to the table. Remember to keep interesting coffee table books that are well suited to your personality out for when guests come over, and never underestimate the finishing touch that a bouquet of fresh flowers can bring to a space! Overall, we love this chic spot, and think that it the perfect combination of design & functionality. For some of our inspired product picks to help you recreate this space, see below!
